π As a continuation that addresses part of the same need from the previous task, we knew that in order to help customers with the jobs they need to get done, we have to improve the whole paying for stuff flow.
π One first step in doing this was creating a new field that would simplify the process of adding products that link with a quantity field and pictures.
π These metrics indicate that there is interest in this feature, but the feature by itself didnβt create many conversions.
Two things that we want to do further:
Find out the number of users that triggered these numbers
Remove the field from the Gold Plan to allow free users to try it out before deciding to upgrade
Introducing this new feature into our product triggered in 2 months:
2.200 insertions in a form
1.300 paywalls triggered
Previously, our users would need to set up the following flow of actions, without any hints from the app, in order to sell some products:

ππ½ Flexibility for users to add multiple fields related to a product
ππ½ Linking this with a formula field allows you to have more dynamic pricing with different quantities, etc.
π Impossible to understand how to link the fields and make them work with online payment without help
π Canβt add multiple products from the multi-choice field
After creating the new product field with specialised feature form image, price & quantity, this flow, which covers the majority of needs for our users, is greatly simplified.
π Adding an image gallery
π Small image editor for cropping & positioning
π Adding fields for other parameters like color, size, etc.
π The thank-you page in form editors is a page that form responders see after submitting a completed form, which can result, depending on how the form was created, in having different outcomes - be it a payment page, a specific website/websites, various links, documents or quiz results.
π This makes the thank you page an essential element for multiple businesses or NGOs in regard to quality lead engagement.

Editor view - adding a product field
Responder view - buying a couple of products
π After going through lots of customer problems and complaints we saw a recurring pattern with users not finding features we actually had for the thank you page and users complaining about not being customizable enough resulting in looking like a spam page for some respondents.

π By far, the most used features from the Thank you page are: input of a custom text, showing a text and having a redirect button and automatically redirecting to a webpage
π We donβt know if these numbers are because users donβt need these or canβt find them
π We should test this, seeing how much the numbers have increased
π We started by doing a small workshop to catch some ideas where we also invited sales person
Most used current sections

π After competition research, we decided to go with the same logic/structure as the editor, with side-panel and a what-you-see-is-what-you-get main panel and this needed a rewrite of this section in React
π We decided to do a 1st version with what already exists and a couple of quick wins (redirect features based on a set time, refill form button)
π Redesigned the text input feature as the existing one has low usability
π Decided to place redirects on top of the side panel as it is a premium feature, to be easily discovered
π We decided not to test the first iteration as it is similar to the editor side panel and has the same functions
Needs & pain points
π 2nd version adds a few more features that allow customers to redirect users to more specific thank-you pages and has been a strong need for some time as it results from user feedback
π We have to use the existing editor design to prioritise for consistency
